The Bangles "Doll Revolution"

Finally got a chance to check out the new Bangles record, and I was pleased with the fact that there is plenty of Ric-o-jangle to be heard from Susanna. Tracks like "Nickel Romeo" and "Here Right Now" have a very Ricky groove to them. Worth checking out if you dig the Ric sound, Beatle chords or those boss Bangle harmonies.

I got it in France about six weeks ago; it is a rick/gretsch fest. Also, it is a wonderful example of a group of musicians who really mastered the essential aspects of the sounds of the beatles, the harmony of the beachboys and the overall late sixties sound. It was a real treat and worth buying.
