Thanks Phlemmy.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Yeah, thanks man. I just lost 2 hours of my life going through all of those classic "Uli-era" clips!

Nice stuff!

These are fantastic! I never dreamed I'd ever see Uli live, especially from his days with the Scorps. I wish I could get the Sails of Charon video to play - the ULTIMATE guitar solo.

For those with 1970s tastes, I'd direct you to live footage of the best (IMO) progressive hard rock band of the day, Captain Beyond:

Yes indeed! Classic Scorps & Captain Beyond. Two reasons to love You Tube.

Oh & I meant "lost two hours" in a good way!

I didn't recognize Klaus Meine at all with the beard! And Michael Schenker without a V! That one close-up of the guy with short hair - the bassist Lothar Heimberg perhaps?

Actually, Lonesome Crow is a pretty cool album - nothing like their later stuff - produced by Conny Plank, who also produced Kraftwerk among others.

Warner has apparently teamed up with YouTube, and NBC is using it to promote their new season, so even though Universal is threatening lawsuits, the site seems to be doing okay.
