Original Horseshoe Pickup over $1100?

Post by sashua »

Please someone...educate me here. Why would a vintage horseshoe pickup bid up this high? I know that the early 4001's are going up in price and these were well made magnet pickups but I just don't get this much money for a pup!

Am I missing something?

It's being sold by one of us - Mark Walker, to be exact. Check the "For Sale" section.

Horshoe PUPS are unique in sound and design. Re-issue ones go for up to $750.00.

An original, functional Horseshoe would command much more.

Very hard to find.
