I have been dividing my time between the 5er and an abused 4005 that I have had here for a very long time. The understanding and patient owner, John Minutaglio would like to see his bass again someday so I have been focusing more it for the last two weeks. The 4005 is getting a new fingerboard with MOP inlays. It has been a long journey getting it right.

Anyway, the next step for the 5er will be lots of sanding and a fret job, which I will show in progress. After that, I will get some pictures of the hardware being re-chromed. Then, the new finish will be applied. I will try to get lots of photos along the way.

ort- n 1. A small scrap or leaving of food after a meal is completed. Often used in the plural.
2. A scrap; a bit.

I learn something new everyday here!

You can learn a lot doing crossword puzzles! :D

Hey Ted, I forgot to ask, have you made any progress on the one-string bass?! :D :D I've been listening to the Kahuna Cowboys and that jogged my memory.

Dana (guitar player) posted in the RIC forum thanking us for catching their set and talking Rickenbackers with them.
