The are some No.1 records where the label would have read much better if someone else had recorded them.

A Whiter Shade Of Pale – Cream
I’m A Believer – Cliff Richard
Return To Sender – The Singing Postman
Nut Rocker – Ozzy Osborne
The Young Ones – The Rolling Stones
Flying Without Wings – Pilot
Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door – Mercury Rev
A Picture Of You – Altered Images
Mr Vain – Carly Simon
Hold Me Close - Squeeze
He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother – Karen Carpenter
Doctorin The Tardis – The Who
I’m Your Man – Boy George
Billie Jean – King
Happy Talk – Talk Talk

Any others....

Nicely done Richard. I can only think of a few that might qualify for this unique topic. Perhaps these selections might be better labeled "groaners."

Something In The Air - Thunderclap Newman
Shakin' All Over - Johnny Kidd and the Pirates
It's All Over Now - The Rolling Stones
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Hey Kris the word Focus is barred here, that's the name of the company who decided they did not need me after 20 years.

One of my kids? I don't think so.

My wife and I have a 2 1/2 year old boy...but wait, there was that night in London, Ontario...and I'm not sure about Vancouver...
