Good trade deal?

Post by steambyrd »

I found an almost mint 92 360/12 FG at Guitar Center. The black tolex case looked new, the original unsigned warranty card was there, plus the unopened bag with the vintage Ric cloth, allen wrenches and case keys. There wasn't a mark on the guitar, except some minor lacquer checking high up the fretboard. I traded them my original Digitech Whammy WH1 pedal and $550 for it. How did I do?

I'd say you did better than alright.

That's a steal, Jim. Nicely done. Those original Digitech Whammy's are highly sought after, but a nice twelve string trumps a vintage pedal any day.

Thanks for the congrats, guys. This is my first Ric with the high gain pickups. I always thought I would prefer toasters like my 370's have, but this guitar really rings with that Ric jingle! It just sings through my old Fender Deluxe Reverb; even my wife is impressed with the combination.

Excellent, thought the warranty may have expired.
This is off the record
