Someone here long ago said it best, actually, I think it might have been you Wints, I adopted it as my own....

"Forgiveness is easier to get than permission".

I hate to say it, but it works! Well, sometimes Image

I have the best trick ever .....
My friend calls me at work, wispering that i am going to get a UPS delivery at my place....
It's a old Fender tweed amp.... His wife will wrap it around his neck, if she finds out about it... Well, When I recieve the amp I take the amp over his house and say "Look what i got"!!!!
I pretend to show off my new amp to my friend....
Then as it gets late...i say " look I really need to keep this amp here just for a few weeks cause my girl will kill me if she finds out"... Out that point my friend's wife is all to happy to help me and says.."No problem, you can keep it here till it's safe" ....
Ha-Ha... the double blind trick does work Image
This also works great for auto parts, such as Edelbrock intakes and Holley Carbuerators..ect...

This is when it's a good thing to have to wait a while for a new Rick. When I told my wife how I wanted the 75th Anniversary 4003, she thought it was a little crazy, but since I only had to put a little down, and I could save up for the year it would take to get here (though I knew/hoped it was shorter), that made it alot easier for her to swallow.

Ummmm......I didn't get the memo, are we suppose to tell the wife about musical purchases?

Darn, that explains all the legal fees!
I'm just happy to be here.

Guess I'm lucky. My wife keeps from selling my vintage gear, my newer guitars...well just about anything.

And she doesn't complain about me buying things...because I usually don't. And I talk all the time about this and that that eventually she just says "buy something, dammit!" Image
Above e-mail is inactive. try ed_ardzinski@**** where **** is Hotmail.com or Yahoo.com. I tend to see things inthe hotmail box quicker...
