UPS LOST MY ORGAN!

I've heard stories of people working at UPS and other carriers stealing musical instruments while they are in shipment, and declaring them lost, and then they resell them. Who knows if this is the case or not, but I'd eithe rbe leaning on the guy who sold this to check into it more seriously, or cancel payment if you used a CC through paypal.
Well, according to Mousie, the best advice would probably be "go to S. Dakota, to the post office where it was last seen, and keep getting on office workers' nerves until they give up & give away the package". Or phone calls every day, every hour. Not 100 % sure it'd work.
Nothing will get you dead quicker than being deadly serious about yourself.

I did not use a credit card.
I can't threaten chargeback, because it's beyond the time limits.
I have an Ebay lookout for the organ.
Seller basically says, go ahead sue me.

I don't know if this might give you any insight, Paul, and I don't know if I have related this story before or not.
Many years ago I shipped a guitar to Chicago. I followed the tracking and everything seemed right on schedule. Then the a day later I got a call from a local guitar dealer (who just happen to know about the guitar I shipped) and said my guitar was at his store.
Sure enough, it was. Not only was the tracking wrong on the UPS website, but apparently, they had scanned an old, partially torn UPS label, which had the guitar store address on it. It was my fault for not removing it when I re-used the box, but nonetheless it is an incredible set of circumstance. I was fortunate the store knew me, or the guitar would have just wound up in someone else's hands, and not the buyers.

I got some information five minutes ago from UPS--they had reimbursed the seller in full on September 7th. So this is now a criminal matter.

At the very least we should know (and inform others where appropriate) so that we & others don't deal with this *******.
Perhaps a complaint lodged with ebay may have some effect. Probably not, but worth a try.
I don't understand why the seller gets reimbursed when he's already been paid for the item AND the shipping!
They (UPS, etc.) already know this: nobody ships PREPAID parcels without collecting the shipping first, or without being paid for the item being shipped.
It's wrong all the way 'round.
At least let us know what his name is on the bay so we could possibly make his life more difficult if we can (in a perfectly legal manner, of course).

My lost nerve? Hardly...
Flashmob? You lost me there.
Stan, he is a Power Seller, no store though.
The fact that he's in Canada makes it tough to go after him, John.

He paid UPS to ship it, so they refund the money to him.

If we're going to do a joint email campaign we need to be organized to have any effect.
He will just block us eventually or change his email, but it would be extremely annoying if everyone hit him at the same time, or at least on the same day. Individual emails would'nt be much of a pain.
It is quite a pain to have to keep changing email addresses.
Anyone have any suggestions?
