They cost around $2200 new. I'd say for about that price, you've got a cool custom-colored one.

Russell, the sky is the limit! Any of Paul's custom colors would be really cool, Aquaglo and Mink included. There's some nice looking wood there for you to work with, so transparents are definitley in, and solids too!

"HERE IS THE ONLY ISSUE: I HAD A HIPSHOT BRIDGE INSTALLED ON THE BASS. THERE ARE TWO EXTRA HOLES FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE BRIDGE"

He must have done something else besides, as the Hipshot should fit the existing holes. Of course, Hipshot makes other style bridges, which is what he may have used.

The Hipshot bridge takes 5 holes just like any post '73 RIC tailpiece, however, a C64 only has a 3 hole tailpiece.

In order to be more authentic, the tailpiece only has the three holes under the bridge. I wish I could get ahold of some of those tailpieces. I'd put the two holes at the rear where they'd count and still have something that looked cleaner with only five screw holes.
