Holy Smoke, that IS nice. Too bad Graham, that's a beauty. I'd have it despite it being a righty! Have we discussed it before, I'm having a deja-vu..

One of the nicest Rics that I have ever seen. Hard luck Graham, bet it played like a dog...

It has a 67 surround, so probably an early 68 bass.

Japan?

Is the Horseshoe surround original, or is that the newer tapered version from the v63 and c64's ?

Jim, that looks like an original mid 60's long taper surround. They change to the square version sometime in 68.

Of course, it could be from a reissue...

Thanks for the info Andrew, I prefer the shape of that surround to the square version.

That is so cool!
The surround looks correct.
If discussing surrounds then a v63 surround is different compared to a c64's. The long surround on this '68 is how it SHOULD look.

WHY is something like this not re-issued? I'm thinking it might be a big seller...
