White/ BT on Ebay

Post by markbass99 »

Just wanted to give a heads up that I listed my 1997 white/BT 4003 on ebay (I hate ebay). Item #330036761142. I forgot to describe the neck in my listing, it's a medium size neck, it's smaller than my 02 jetglo but it's bigger than my 73 jetglo neck, sort of falls in the middle. The reason why I didn't offer it here is I need top dollar and wouldn't have felt right asking for that here, so I want to apologize for that. Anyway, it's a cool bass and needs more attention than I was giving it, I'm into my 73 4001's and I just bought two Laredo's to go with my Cii.

Sweet bass Mark, good luck with the sale.

They are so pretty when they are white. That one should fetch a good buck.

Jeff, what a coincidence, I've suddenly found myself going after Laredos to convert into five strings, it's a sickness isn't it. When RIC is ready to start making fives again, they should offer them in two sizes of necks, the current four string width and the discontinued Cii5 width. I don't think I would like the Cii5 width, it looks like you could land a Navy jet on that thing (2" nut).

yep any nut over 1 3/4" is too wide for me ... I prefer 1 5/8" ... and for the bridge I prefer 2 1/2" ...

If I have a 4004cii5 I would be tempted to put in Tbird pickups ... man that would be a monster ... it would have balls and kick butt ...

the new Laredos are cool ... especially with a low B and 2 volume controls ...

If I were in "buying" mode, I'd have been mine the first day.

That bass is beautiful and worth every penny!

Two days and 3 hours left, 0 bids, 14 watchers. On Wed. at around 6:43 PM EDST there's probably going to be a frenzied low ball shootout and I'll be glued to the computer screen. If not, I'll take it as a sign that I wasn't supposed to sell it.

Never mind, somebody just hit the BIN in L.A.
I don't think it's anyone from here. I'm going to miss that bass, there's not alot of bright white ricks out there. I may have to rectify that situation by getting somebody to do me a Laredo in bright white/ black hardware.
