Best macho rock lyrics
"It's not easy having just one girl, but I'm willing to try, yes I am"
-the Raspberries, "Every Way I Can"
-the Raspberries, "Every Way I Can"
This is off the record
"Will you or won't you want me to make you? I'm coming down fast so don't let me break you"
Now, Now, Paulie...
Marianne Faithfull has an interesting anecdote about witnessing Paul record the 'panting' vocal that tails off "Lovely Rita" (he was looking at her at the time, apparently).
I guess machismo entails more than libido-- inebriation and destruction, too! I'd give honors to "We're an American Band".
And oh yeah, one must not forget the seminal "Sex Farm" by Spinal Tap.

Thin Lizzy might have been the kings of the genre:
Searchlight on my trail, tonight’s the night all systems fail
Hey you good lookin’ female, come here!
-Jailbreak
You know the chick that used to dance a lot
Every night she’d be on the floor shaking what she’d got
Man when I tell you she was cool, she was red hot
I mean she was steaming
-The Boys are Back in Town
I was going to call this thread "sexist lyrics" and that certainly holds for some of these. But I digress.

I believe one of those lines was used in a James Bond film about ten years ago as well.
When I was a little boy
About the age of five
I had something in my pocket
Keep a lots of woman alive
The line I shoot
Will never miss
The way I make love to them
You know they can't resist
I'm a man
I spell it M A N
(The Muddy Waters song "Mannish Boy" is almost identical to the Bo Diddley song "I'm A Man". Bo Diddley had a chart success with this in 1955, and it seems that Chess decided to cash in by releasing a similar record. Otis Span played organ on both the original Bo Diddley recording and with Muddy Waters on the subsequent Chess recording. At the time, Bo Diddley did not seem to object - he was given a shared writing credit ("Morganfield" is Muddy Waters real name, and "McDaniel" is Bo Diddley's). But Bo Diddley later claimed sole authorship.)
