Ok this one will cover the "others'. This one was taken before the ones with the 4000 posted earlier. This is late '68 or early '69. I traded in this '62 or '63 (can't remember now) P bass on the Rick. The acoustic hanging on the wall was a $30 Stella.

Awesome pics Ken. Why did you trade the P-Bass for the 4000?

Me too.... The instruments I played in my "yoot" weren't even guitars, LOL! Image It might take a while to find those old photos..... Never had much time to get into scrapbooking, so all the non-digital pics are in a big jumbled mess inside of an end-table compartment....

Circa 1988. I was the tender age of 18. That's my 1974 4001 that I still have. The "young artist" stuff is my ex singers handiwork from an old band's now defunct website.

Wish I still had the hair...

"Why did you trade the P-Bass for the 4000?"

I couldn't afford both with my after school jobs and I just had to have the Rick. I wish I still had both considering their value. A couple of years later I made the switch to guitar. Shortly after that I was drafted due to an action in southeast Asia. I didn't pick up the guitar again til about '88 or '89.
