I was #1 on the waiting list from a big RIC dealer up coast for the C12. I was told that I would not be able to choose my guitar or pass up whatever arrived. Basically, "next guitar is yours, take it or leave it." There was no guarantee what my C12 was going to look like.

After two and a half years of waiting, I passed on the C12 and received my deposit back.

I don't care for the new redandpinkglos.

That is our FG right now and most people are happy with it. We're doing it like this because it blends nicely and avoids the inevitable Clownglo we'd get if we sprayed FG darker. Then again, I have noticed some people around here are quite fond of the Clownglo too!

Emd, I think the guitar looks great. The finish looks somewhat like the fireglo on my '79 4001.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Bozo made some incredible acoustic guitars in the '70s.

He sure did. Leo Kottke played 'em for years.
“I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did.”

Should we have a little contest here to see who can pronounce Bozo (the luthier) correctly?

That's only because you know! Image

The prize is the first of the 100th Anniversary RIC Frying Pan guitars. You'll have to wait till Ben Hall makes it.

Well that wasn't much of a contest...
Jeff, maybe you should have asked for the 10th caller or something...
