I prefer Star Trek, but had LIS kept the Dr.Smiths' original charactor intact, it would have made a much more interesting show. Remember in the first episode, he Karate chops a guard, dumps him into a waste chute, and then programs the Robot to kill everyone after liftoff, including children! Then he turns into "Dr.Smith:Space Pussy". I mean, c'mon, that show could have been way better. There are a few excpetions, but for the most part, LIS is only good 'cause it brings back those distant childhood memories.

Dane,
As soon as I read your post that episode came flooding back in my memory. I remember watching it thinking...WOW 1984. That is so far away. I was always partial to Judy Robinson myself.

ROFLMAO!! I actually had to scroll back to the top to remember what this thread was about! Sorry about that - I THOUGHT it would be an innocent quote...
And FWIW I believe the anniversary models will go well above list when they appear, which I believe will be right after they are delivered. There, back on track?

Depending on whether the people off this forum desire the anniversary bass will probably be a factor in long term value.
Forum members here who missed out and want one badly may pay considerably more initially when the first models are put up for sale. Of course, if too many people speculate when they first receive their basses then prices may not be as high as anticipated by some.
It may be viewed more as a colour of the year model by the general market. It's not an endorsement model and it does not have the workmanship of an LK.
Should this bass fetch more than a Seagreen or Desert Gold 4003? Both of those are quite possibly fewer in number.
Answers in the New Year probably...

Did you know that Billy Mumy played a major character on Babylon 5, and that June Lockhart was on an episode of it.
Then
All grown up and alien!
Not only that, Walter Koenig played a very major bad guy on B5 through most of the series!
Now that I think of it, Majel Barrett Roddenberry was also on the show, and she wore a very love outfit in Dark Cherry Metallic. Now back to your regularly scheduled program!

1997. That's right! That seemed even further away. I guess because it was. Still dig Judy though.
