Ted, the HB-1s are quite hot so being further away from the strings should pose no problems.

I got ya John. No prob. I never take payment up front - only after the work is completed to your satisfaction. Let me make the part for you and then we will square up when it is exactly what you want.

Ted, I have no doubts at all that a fingerboard from you will be exactly what I require....is there something freudian in that?

Is there something to the fact that having been away from the forum for a few months...I have lost the power to spell correctly?

Come on Ted, more, more, I want to see more. Especially the unique combination of binding, very upscale. Will this one hit the market when done with construction? You don't seem to do the finish work yourself, what is the plan for the finish on this one?
No matter where you go - there you are.

I love Ted's thread's, they almost make me think I can do the same. Then I wake up Image

Seriously, they're the most fun that can be had without beer!

Keep it up Ted! I hope one day you can make this your full-time job, rather than your hobby. You certainly seem to have a great aptitude. As someone who has suffered badly with work related stress in a soul-destroying job I have every sympathy work-wise. Let's hope the good karma of repairing all those basses comes back to you....

Ha! Hi Jim, the 4000 is fine thanks. It came fairly close to returning home at one point, but due to circumstance managed to avoid it again. I don't think it wants to go!
