No, I havn't heard back from Mike Parks yet so I assume he's still trying to locate a set. Mike's a great guy, and even if he can't locate 'em it says volumes about the- music- connection as a company. For him to go out of his way for a set of strings is above and beyond what most companies these days will do. I am very happy with the non-RIC strings whose name I will not disclose to avoid p*****g off those who may be offended or go as far as charging me with blasphamy! I'll keep you up to date on the RIC set. Looks like you may have purchased one of the last sets. And while we're on the subject of discontinued items when is the re-issue horseshoe going to be made available???

HOw hard can it be to produce a fretless version of a bass? Unless I'm missing something. . . .all you do is DONT install the frets. . . seems like they would want to make more of them.
