Hi Mark, I was referring to the feedback you can post about the seller. However a friend of mine essentially runs a business via EBay and I thought she had mentioned other avenues along these lines. I have pinged her and will let you know what I find.

Sorry to all if I came off sound Thumpy on earlier post.

I haven't talked to my friend yet but do have a couple of things -.

At the bottom of the page (Related Help topics) are a couple of things – report a member looks interesting.

Of course if PayPall is used there is their processes.

this is the feedback forum - as long as you have had dealing with in 90 days it might work (sometimes you can go over this time period but not guarantees).

As near as I can tell you can do some stuff, not a whole lot but some. Seems the best avenue is to do the feedback. Be professional but honest. There may be actual issues with Jim’s shipping saga but a trail of honest reports on the actual short comings may be the best. I know I do look at the feedback when buying. I think sometimes folks are afraid of getting into a war with someone over bad reviews – I guess you have to be true to your own heart there. Anyhow I hope this helps. If I get anything additional from my friend I post it.

Did Pitillo ever work at RIC? I used to take my guitars to him as he used to do good work. After a while he got really shoddy and then wanted to charge me to re-work his mistakes plus leave my stuff a couple more weeks. It's sad that he's turned into a crook.

I knew David(DOC) in the 70's and early 80's before we moved to Oregon. He used to come by my shop and hang out at "Doc" Kaufmann's, I think that's why he called himself DOC, he was always trying to pick our brains looking for info. I don't believe he ever worked for Rickenbacker, but he knew people who did.
