For The Sake of the Music

Post by edcal »

I just finished reading the two interviews by Spencer Leigh regarding Chris Curtis as published in the "Record Collector", March 1998 and The April 2003 piece. Fasinating! It is really too bad that they, the Searchers, (John, Chris, Mike, Tony and Frank)couldn't work out their problems and disagreements for the sake of the music. But that is life eh? People agree to disagree. Also is there an interview with Mike Pender available on the internet. I'm wondering what is his take on what really happened during his career as a Searcher and his post-Searcher years.

I am not aware of any interview on the internet ED(welcome by the way)perhaps the best interview I have heard was done by Mike D'Abo, he of Manfred Mann fame, which was featured on a radio show he had at the time circa 86/87.

I have a number of articles on Clough Links which Peter has kindly put on, perhaps Peter or Tim Viney could be persuaded to do a review of that show.
