The acoustic Guitar on Epitaph was recorded in a tiled bathroom to get that reverb/echo sound ... at least I seem to remember reading that a long time ago ...

that album was really different ... guitar, bass, drums, sax, flute, and mellotron ...

So good. I wish there was more non-sleazy saxophone in rock music today. The only recent stuff I've heard with it has been the Mars Volta (it's all over their new album) . . . saxophone can be so amazing if done just right.

As for the bowl of pistachios . . . what sound did that make? How did they amplify that? And how big was Fripp's afro at that point?
