All cynicism aside (just for a moment), there is no contest here.
The sculpting and finishing on the Lennon figure is excellent, whereas the KJI looks like an amateur attempt.
The KJI figure should have at least featured KJI's patented "Chia Pet" hairstyle!

Actually I think it is Yoko's motivation thats in question.... selling John's memory for a cheap few bucks. Its shameful and very pathetic. I bet that even the ultimate Yoko defender - John himself - is rockin and rollin in his grave over Yoko's lowlife behavior.

Hey Kent good to see you on the forum, I was just thinking about you. Is everything OK over there? Did you get through that earthquake today OK?

Actually, a Yoko Ono plastic action figure with taped shrieking from her own marvelously talented (tongue-in-cheek) performances could easily defeat the Kim Jung Il figure.
Yoko Ono, perhaps the most fortunate talent-less artist ever. Marrying John gave her a platform she would have never attained for herself on her own merit.
Does anything that strange little woman acts out really surprise people?

Hi Brian.... yup, it was rockin and rollin on that Sunday morning for a little while. It woke me up, but here on Oahu it really was only strong enough to rattle something off a shelf, no real damage. There was some serious damage over on the Big Island especially to a harbor. The power was out for most of Sunday but that wasn't too bad. The good thing is that the earthquake caused a sideways shift in the earth and not an up/down one... hence no tsumani.

I figured you were OK Kent. It's funny how the mind works. I was watching the news that day and the first thing I thought was "I wonder if Kent is OK"
The funny thing is that if it was not for this forum that thought would have not crossed my mind that; hey somebody I know is in the middle of that mess.
Thanks Peter for making the world a little more accessible.
