This, only with a vol/tone steup (only two knobs + switch) and a better looking BB finish. And a gold anodized pickguard, if I can find someone to make me one.

Damn John, when the bug bites it bites hard don't it. I was perfectly content with the one 4001 refin I have set up with Paul and then I see another bass and I know what Paul can do and the wheels start turning and then before you know it I have two basses going out west....fortunately the wait helps space things out(moneywise). The gold just doesn't do it for me, but that checkerboard binding looks great!
