I saw that earlier as well Scott and I'm pretty sure their will be a COY for 2007. Can you imagine the threads if we had to speculate for 2 years on a COY?
Aaahhhh, COY...my favourite has to be Burgundy & yet I've had a couple...a 350V63 & a 360 & let them both go. My real gas is Sea Green....a classic. I've never owned one, but a 360SG is a bit of a peach to me. The problem is that I know I'd never play it, which is why I have never had one!
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.
That's an interesting post from Mr. Hall. It seems like a sensible idea to skip a year, but I'm very curious about that strong candidate he's mentioned. It's hard to think of a colour that's unlike anything Rickenbacker has done before.
Anthony, I feel your pain re: Sea Green. Mike Parks had a 340 with vintage pick-ups in that colour for $1695. It was eventually sold to someone with more dosh and more backbone. He who hesitates, etc. I still long for it, though. What a little rocker it would have been.
Oh John....the best gtr in the best colour...I'm drooling. Mind you, the toasters would have put me off, but Mike would have no doubt changed them for hi gains, so even that thought is little comfort!

I think the 360 is the best looking guitar for the sea green finish.... Something about those rounded corners and the white soundhole binding with that color just looks soooooo retro-cool!
And of course the toasters add a nice touch as well!
"Once I've held and played the best, baby, I won't settle for less!"
