Ashdown makes some excellent amps that work for both for acoustic and electric instruments.
I like the Ashdown a bit better than the Trace Elliot but Trace does make some fine amps. I think the Ashdown would do better for your situation. A tad on the pricey side but worth the extra $$ in the long haul. Check out their "Radiator" amp.
