The bass in the Experience Museum is very interesting. The scale is much shorter than the one that Leo settled on but there is no doubt that it is a fretted bass that is designed to be played horizontally like a guitar. It failed in the marketplace.

I doubt that Leo was aware of the Tutmarc instruments when he came up with the Pbass.
