Rickenbacker.com via Safari
Sorry to plug up the board with nonsense, but I'm having difficulty accessing the Rickenbacker site using Safari (Apple's proprietary web browser). Anyone else having similar trouble? I had no trouble getting it at work (Internet Exploder, erm, Explorer), and I've tried to diagnose the problem on my end without success. I used to have no troubles at all, so I'm a little perplexed.
Cheers.
Cheers.
I'm using Safari and I haven't had minor problems with it. The only problems I get are when I'm on the RIC forum and I try and click the link directly to the last message...instead I have to go into the forum topic by topic...but that's not really a big deal. It also doesn't like the "back" button when searching for recently shipped guitars...

John P,
I have no problem navigating through the site on my G4 12" powerbook with 1.25 GB of RAM. My wife is running her 17" Powerbook with 1 GB of RAM and when she opens the site, it runs very slow on her.
Alisha,
I have the same problem with the forum and the recently shipped paged. However, just do apple&back arrow on the recently shipped page and it will take you back.
John B,
You need more RAM, maybe?

It's pretty straightforward, Stuart, but you have to be wary of static electricity -- it can fry your motherboard. If you have one of them fancy Apple stores nearby, they can put it in for you inside of 15 minutes. It's money well spent.
My problems seem to have just gone away. I wasn't able to even get the Ric homepage for a while there. Safari kept telling me that it couldn't find the server, despite the fact that I could get the site on a Windows equipped computer at the exact same time. Weird. Anyway, it's stopped for the time being, so I'm not going to investigate any further.
