I just picked up a set of T-I JS112 Jazz/Swing flats on my MG 325c58. Anybody else use these? they appear recommended for semi-hollow/hollow bodies like the Casino, etc.
Initial impressions are very positive...she had 13s of some kind on her when I got her, but I just never warmed to them. I like the feel and sound of flats, so decided to try these. So far very impressed...they feel lighter than the Ric or T-I Benson rounds I've used previously, and sound quite good.

"Let me take you down...'cause I'm going to...."
Bill, the Thomastik Jazz Swing 12s are what I've had on my 325v63 since the day I got it. I've strayed from them a few times just to try something else, but nothing seems to do as well for me. They sound great, intonate well, and as you say they feel lighter than other strings of the same gauge. They're also incredibly durable.
Woo hoo!!

I've played The TI Jazz Swings (10s) on my Elite '65 Casino, and I currently have a set of 11s on my Gretsch G6119HT. They're definitely more expensive than many other makes/types of string sets, but IMO they're DEFINITELY worth the greater expense.
One other plus that we haven't mentioned -- they're lower tension strings that the corresponding gauges of Pyramid flatwounds, so they're easier on your neck/trussrod.
