Does anybody else wear a bass up that high? My arm is cramping just looking at it!

Don't know if any of you have heard or seen the Greenhornes from Cincinnati, great garage rock band but the lead guitarist wears his SG so high that he could poke himself in the throat with the pointy upper horn. I don't see how anyone can play it up that high.

Maybe he's short! When I was a kid I thought the Gretsches and Rics Harrison played must've been
huge. Then I met him and realized he was just short.

I thought that I'd post this interesting interview with Pete from 1998:
http://www.kindakinks.net/misc/quaife/

He's holding a Ric bass in the images, but it isn't fireglow.

It is a fascinating interview. A comment I definitely agreed with was the one that many bass players are actually frustrated drummers.

This is the update (moved back to Denmark after a divorce and has sworn off the public eye and any Kinks reunions):

"I'm not interested in touring though. When you get older, a bass guitar becomes a lot heavier on your lower back."
