In the first couple of clips you get a good look at the Toaster that Stu installed at the neck of his P-Bass. Woulda been cooler to just play a Rick though!

Thanks for posting those!

Don't know if this is recycled YouTube but a more modern day version of Fogerty, et al...

I looked to no avail for footage of Stu with his 4001 Fireglo. I know he used it for awhile early on, and may have done the 1st album plus the Bayou Country album with it. Pics but no video.???

Great later version of Suzie Q. Prominently shows the Rick but he doesn't say the brand! Really good drummer. I used to use a Kustom head (100?) with a Fender Bassman cab years ago - plenty of thump.

Ha! Since i first heard it on a cassette, i was wondering what the guitar was - maybe something old and beat up. Still, it's not 1987, it's 1997...

Wow, loved that live Susie Q!

Make you stop and think when you hear such a cool sound coming out of some old school hardware.

Is that a factory tremolo?

Thanks Dave.
I'm just happy to be here.

[Note: three of the first five clips have been removed.]

Also loved Susie Q.
I thought the f-hole was made for the British market. Did Fogerty pick his up on a tour there way back?

Notice, btw, that the bass player is playing an Epiphone Casady model. Nice tone.
