Vintage Keywinds on a standard 360/12

Post by chrispaul »

Has anyone here put vintage keywinds on their standard 360/12 to replace the schaller keywinds?

I believe this was discussed in another recent thread...the short answer is that it is a lot of work, and the Schallers, although very modern looking, are MUCH better than the vintages at lasting and staying in tune.

Holes for the Schaller posts are larger than those for the vintage posts, and the mounting screw patterns are quite different.
