Sorry for flying off the handle guys...
I love most of the Beatles stuff and some of the solo career music. But alot of the solo stuff falls short (for me) of grabbing my attention musically. So I'm not a full behind kisser, (maybe half) lol!
I wasn't talking about Macca as a social VC...but the people that say he doesn't give a damn about the poor. I think that he strays toward the PETA crowd a little more that I like...I rather have him lean more toward helping people rather than butterflies.
Hey, but it's his money...

Exactly Arthur! You got the point. On the other hand I am a full "behind kisser," I am what yo might call a "luni-fan." Get ready for this..... I like "McCartney II." ......... No, really.

Is this a trick question Brian? LOL! When I first heard "Temporary Secretary" I was hooked. "On the Way" has some sweet lead guitar work. "Waterfalls" is catchy. I like "Frozen Jap" as well. The whole album sounds like it could be the soundtrack for an 80's movie soundtrack. I love it cause it's out of left field. I have the remastered disk with the extra tracks. "Secret Friend" is my favorite one of those. Funky bass (although most likely the dreaded Yamaha.) It sounds like I'm back in Orlando cruising down the beach. Not my favorite Macca album. But great for me. (Sorry to make you guys queasy)

Just kidding. I pulled the CD out and have been listening to it. All I have to say Richard is that you have very serious problems. VERY SERIOUS! Image

I also love "Pipes of Peace." And "Wild Life" Like I said he can't put anything out I won't enjoy. Although "Run Devil Run" tested my patience.

Keep Undercover is a pretty good song from Pipes of Peace. Wild Life was an ok song, but the rest of the album wasn't. I liked Run Devil Run, especailly the title track and Brown Eyed Handsome Man. I'm not old enough to remember most of the original versions.

McCartney II?

1776! Not a bad year.

Dang! I missed that airing......

Run Devil Run and that Russian CD kinda like go together. They seem like for doing old standards they're a bit over produced. That's only my opinion anyway.

I think he took a bit more care with Run Devil Run. Plus it does have a few pretty good originals on it.

My wife got pictures of that Rexall drug store that is on the cover when she went to Atlanta. What a good girl.
