I saw them in 1970 at The Santa Monica Civic and actually sat on the stage, near Ron Woods amp ---OUCH! I'm still smarting just thinking about it... This was just before crowd control and brawly guys in windbreakers with earpieces.

Ronnie Lane - using his Zemaitis. He had a couple. Here is a photo of the other one in private hands:
