EMP Seattle Exhibit
EMP Seattle Exhibit
Went to the EMP again over the weekend (family from out of town). They had a great exhibit on the history of the guitar....and had some great Rickenbackers (basses and guitars). They had a 360 12er, lap steels, early electro acoustics, and an early 4000-series bass....highly recommend it to those who normally can't see those guitars in person.
Now, if they only allowed cameras....

If you didn't see it, then it is probably gone. It had its own room on the main floor not far from the guitar structure.

When I went to the Experience Project thing in Seattle there was a guy taking digital pictures of the Hendrix stuff. He would've gotten away with it too, but someone else took a flash photo with a disposable camera. A security guard saw the flash and ended up catching the stealth digital photo guy! He kept demanding that he turn over the memory card and the photographer kept refusing - I never saw the final result...
