That's some dense prose there, I agree, John.
SOLD for $10K with a BIN. The last one on Ebay went for less than $2K and it wasn't in too bad a shape, either.
What's happening to vintage prices lately? Are speculators getting involved?

No doubt an historic instrument, but $10K is ridiculous. I bet the seller can't believe his luck.

Graham - thanks for the offer mate, but I'll pass this time. I can probably achieve the same thing by whacking a horseshoe pickup into a crusty ol' acoustic I have lying around here and still be $9500 better off!

Any time anyone of you insurance-laden folks want to reduce a bit of your inventory feel free to contact me. I'd be glad to help!! I don't want you to have to endure all of that stress. I'm sure others would be willing to help you out as well.
The world is made of stories not atoms and every guitar has a story.
I have never seen one of these in person, let alone heard its tone. I suspect, however, it was not purchased at that price to be a player.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Peter: they look and sound like you would expect from an instrument of their seminal era.
But if I was doing a Leon Redbone revival act (does even he need a revival?)...
