Just got back from the Dylan concert at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. He had Foo Fighters acoustic opening for him and one of the guitar players had an FG. I think another might also have had an JG. Unfortunately, from where I was sitting, I couldn't tell definitively what model the FG was or even if the the other was in fact a Rick a JG (it was only used on one tune and the guy had a light behind him that kept shining directly out my way-very hard to see). Anybody see the show and have more details?
Dylan was great by the way. Never got off the keyboards all night though and did, as he always does, some pretty different versions of tunes, including very different versions of It's Alright Ma, Maggie's Farm, and Highway 61 that I was pleasantly surprised to hear. I'm a big fan and know most of his stuff but there were tunes that took me a verse or two to recognize! Kick-*ss version of Tangled Up in Blue and gloriously sweet, almost country version of Don't Think Twice (the lapsteel was nice throughout the show-as Dylan said "it's like a guitar but it's different"). Unfortunately no Rick content in Dylan's show but the stand-up bass helped mitigate that somewhat....

I was also at the show last night, and had a pair of binoculars.
From what I could see, the JG was actually a black Gretsch, and the FG was a Gibson. I spent the better part of their set trying to verify this. Doesn't mean they didn't have Rics, I just didn't see them.
Foo Fighters put on an entertaining show...too bad most of their songs are boring. Stadium rock by ex-punk rockers.
Loved seeing Pat Smear back with the band.
Dylan had his moments, which Bill has already highlighted. Too much 12-bar blues renditions of his back catalogue, but that's what you get from Mr. Bob.

No "It's All Over Now Baby Blue" - I too love this song and intend to have it played, someday in the far future I hope, at my funeral. Nothing from Desire either (my favourite Dylan album by the way - my daughter is named after the song Sara) though I was hoping when I saw the violin. Only song from Blood on the Tracks was Tangled Up in Blue. Yea, lots of 12 bar and it seems to have become staple fare for live Dylan. I've seen him half a dozen times and this was one of the better shows of his I've seen - he seems more "into it" than he was in the mid/late 80s.
Sorry for the mistakes re the guitars, I was a good way back and my view of stage right was poor, hampered by equipment and lighting. I could have swore the FG was a Rick, just from the pattern and colouring of the burst. Wasn't so sure about the other black guitar.
