Alan White + SEYES at the Cavern

Post by seyesbass »

Hi guys thought you might like to see some picks of the gig we did with Alan White at the Cavern in Liverpool.just go to www.seyes.co.uk.The event was a Ludwig drum clinic with Bill Ludwig 3 and Alan taking questions from the floor then a demo of techniques from Alan White on the kit.We came on to play Mind Drive which we had never played until that afternoon! Then we did Heart of the Sunrise and (of course)Imagine. The crowd wanted more so we came back out and ripped into Roundabout which we never rehearsed with Alan but we play the YESSONGS version so it went really well.We also had the pleasure of playing all of Close to the Edge with Alan earlier at the soundcheck but there wasnt time to do it later. The gig was a great moment for me as a bass player and whats more I have to add that Alan White and Bill Ludwig were absolute gentlemen to us guys having never heard us or met us prior to this.Maybe someone will youtube the event as there were loads of video cameras there.
Too many basses is an oxymoron
