Shirley Robusto?

Uh...sorry. Wires crossed.

A milder smoke...woman's name...Latina, perhaps...man, let me think here...

All I know is, after yesterday's election, it's still okay to go out with her here in "Babylon On The Platte", but you'd better not get caught with her anywhere else in the state...she remains 'criminalized' owing to her unfairly assigned 'bad reputation'...
I didn't get where I am today by being on time...

DPT,

Sounds like you should undertake another Dutch trip for a much more balanced perspective... Image

To avoid any confusion, this list is from best(10) to worst(1), for me

Padron 1964 Anniversary - 10
Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 - 8
Romeo Y Julieta - 7
CAO anniversary - 5
Onyx Reserve - 5
Monte Cristo - 4

Interesting, Charly. Which Montecristo and Romeo Y Julieta are you comparing? I'd rate the Monte well above the other if we're talking full corona size.

We have a few specialist cigar stores here in Melbourne - the best of which is in the casino complex. Alas.... I get down there very rarely!

Montecristo Robusto and the Romeo was the Anniversario Robusto. I tend to like the short fat ones as I don't smoke but half of it.

I see. Yes, the full coronas can be a very, very long smoke. There's a grog shop not far from me that sells some of the higher-end cigars.... I'll drop in today and see what I can find.

We were jealous of your grog back in 73 when we (US Navy) did a training exercise with the Brits and Aussies down there. We were out on the high seas, and your folks were at least getting a shot or two!

Ah yes! We look after our service personnel. I think the ration these days is two cans per person per day but perhaps they are able to purchase more if desired - don't really know.

Aussie beer and a fine cee-gar ..... what a combination! Almost as good as a long black, fine port and fine cee-gar!

In fact it and a Montecristo did in Grand Marais. Image

I'm glad you enjoyed that.... Marc will be happy to share some more when you come back--if you bring the cigars! Image
