how does it sound?

Kinda like a SF bassman 50 w/CTS speakers, fairly warm with not much 'ring'. Then again if I change the valves from the Sovteks to GE NOS-better ooompf.

These thangs are heavy duty-unfortunately outta production.

It would sound better if I knew how to play...

i had a pignose for half a year. great for the money, though, with a full band, i found stage volume to be an issue.

if you are looking for economical tube, i'd recommend the new traynor yba200, it's great.
