If you haven't seen this, it's pretty cool. Amazing how, except for the language, the music is so western world.

Cool guitars, any idea if they can actually play them?

The video would lead one to think, ahhh....not so much.
I'm just happy to be here.

I have to agree with you, J.Gary - props! Their left hands never move. If they were players they would at least go through the motions, IMO.

Two of them are girls after my own heart Howard. They have left the Rickenbacker stickers on the pick guards. heh heh heh.

That was great. The choice of instruments (and colour) demonstrate impeccable taste on their part and bonus... I even like the song.

No doubt because they had to go back into stock at the distributor or dealer, Peter. End users need to be able to make that choice themselves.... it's part of the "Rick ritual"! Image

I would be most unimpressed if I purchased a new Rickenbacker and it was "stickerless"!

Yes Howard but how can you say your guitar is "as it left the factory" if it hasn't got the sticker on the pickguard? It's as important as the smell in the case! Image

To quote the Ralph McTell trial, how can you play it if the dots are missing?

I don't know what the relevance of that was but it seemed funny after three pints of Guinness!

I thought someone was going to go all the way and question their gender! I'm reasonably sure they were female.

Now I'm bummed, my 330 I bought off this (and a related...long story) site earlier was virtually unplayed. The seller was a dreamer, not a player. I didn't know it had a sticker on the pickguard. Oh well, the smell's still there!

Can't disagree with you there, Peter.

The RIC case smell and three pints (minimum) of Guinness.... what a combination!! OK..... I know what I'm doing tonight. Image

Well, the "bass player"'s left hand does move a bit, anyway...
