Yeah I noticed this one:

No neck pickup, unbound body, bound neck it looks like???
What are these called with one pickup? A 4000 instead of a 4001?

...went in to buy a 52' Tele and walked out with a 360 Jetglo...
John, I looked at that Combo 400 in the pic, which was advertised as a '56. I take it to be a refin, although the finish looked pretty old......it just doesn't add up to be a '56 with a lacquered fretboard, which this guitar has. If this guitar had been made in, say, 1960, I'd believe it.....especially with the metal TRC. Could it be something that was left-over?? Hmmm......
Mike,
It was just about the same as far as size. There was only one small stand that had food and coffee but they seem to take care of everybody. The drive up from Washington Area was great, No tolls! There were a couple of tricky turns but it was a breeze other than that. It took me about the same time to drive up 2.5 hours. Plenty of parking out front. I'm going up again in the spring.

Mike: I think the reason that Ft. Washington went away was that Fannie Mae bought the property and is using it as a data center ot some sort. Kevin is right in that it was about the same size, and looked like there was plenty of room to expand if need be.
The Reading site is a manufacturing facility of some sort, recently used by Lucent Technologies, at least there a bunch of Lucent signs around on some of the building...hey, the bathrooms are easy to get to..LOL

Thanks, guys! I know the promoter for my event had to commit to at least two different show dates, then I believe he will try to move it back to the Philly community. As it is for us out-of-towners, I hear it is up to about 1 1/2 hr drive from Philly.
If Graham, Peter and Chris are up to coming to the next one, then count me in!
