In the grand fashion of the international RickResource tourists of this past year (Graham, Darren, Aitch) I am happy to announce a little tour of my own It's a little early for the announcement but I just got all of the plane tickets confirmed and I'm really excited!
I'm headed off to:
Melbourne, Australia: May 8th-21st
England: May 23rd-June 6th.
(I should also mention that I've never been to either destination before).
Can't wait to play host! I'm planning a few things already. The trip to Liverpool's almost sorted!! And nearly sorted your stay in Stratford-Upon-Avon as well!! I've been busy Sis
Try to get your hands on some RICs while you are away.......
I can assure you that there will be at least 20 available for Alisha to get to know - guitars and basses! As she samples each one it will be chained to her ankle so she can't do "a runner"!!
Plus, there will be 'non-Rick' treats available, should she decide to flirt with other brands.
All of us here in Melbourne will make sure she has an unforgettable stay. Of course when she gets to Graham's home she'll need at least 2 months to go through his collection!
My family is also fortunate to be hosting Alisha during some of the Australian leg of her journey. Howard and I will ensure Alisha gets to meet Greg and Ron.
I should mention that the "cool thing to do" for 2007 is to get on a plane, fly across to the other side of the pond and visit the Aussie forum members.
Dave Pascoe and his wife are now locked in for Jan 14-19 and it's likely that Graham and Peter will visit later in the year.
So come on down the rest of you! The country is big enough for a few more!
Problem is, you don't arrive here until the morning of the 10th! I always though we were pretty advanced here, Alisha..........
To add to Darren's 'visitor list', there's a chance that Brian Medway and his wife will be joining us some time next year - business commitments permitting. Cool!
Aitch you told me it was a long way to Oz! I didn't even realize that I lost that much time in the air...but I guess I get it back on the return (if I ever want to leave)
Well, if you decide you want to stay, your employer has 16 sites here in Australia. I would suspect that they are mostly administrative, but who knows? The son of a friend of mine works for them in Sydney. He was posted to Seattle for 2 years in '02-'03.
