This is roughly parallel to rubbernecking while slowly driving by a very bad automobile accident on the highway. You're shamefully mesmerized by the macabre scene, but it's almost impossible to not look.
I trust that Rickenbacker's image will not be permanently tarnished by the recent events that John McKelvy has reported. ~LOL~

On the show, Nikki Sixx's 360 was literally within arms reach. . .but he is a bass player (sortof) so I am fairly certain it has not shown up on stage or recordings.
The guitarists' rick was either a solidbody or a 325/350 model. . .they only showed it for a split second.
For all I know the interviews were held in a generic studio suitably decked out with rock n roll paraphernelia.

More ricks showing up in studios you would not expect. I'm doing the holiday thing in a home with cable. . . and had MTV droning on in the background as I was reading a good John Keegan book. Looking up, some special about "22 greatest CD's" is on. One of the top ten albums listed was Metallica's "The Black Album." This is the record most famously known for "Enter Sandman." For a split second clip, the lead growler and rhythm guitarist, James Hetfield, was playing Fireglo 360. I couldn;t tell if it was a 12-string or not.
It was a strange experience, to say the least.
