Something Different

Post by krick »

Having sold my Fireglo 330 VP a few weeks ago and while waiting for my 360DCM to arrive, I decided to try something different.

Quite nice wood grain. Congrats! Did you put silver 'guards on there or is that just the photo?

I think it was John Williams who had originally suggested silver plastic on Blueburst - he was right! That looks so cool, Kevin. One of the nicest BBR's i've seen to date.

Wow.... that looks amazing. Heavenly Blueburst, and I love the silver guards, too!

Thanks all.

The silver guards are from Pickguardian.com.

The TRC is a standard RIC white molded plastic one that was spray painted silver. The tops of the letters were painted black.

Any chance of a close-up of the TRC, Kevin? That must have been pretty tricky.

Howard, here is a link to a photo of the one I painted for a Ruby 360/12 WB.

That's a knockout Kevin!

Thanks Peter. Here it is from another angle which shows some of the wood grain.

Hey Kevin, That looks really cool. That is definitely some sweet looking grain on that guitar.

That's the 330 from Dave's Guitar isn't it, Kevin? I think I recognize the wood grain from their in-store photos. (And yes, people ... I know ... I've got to get a life.) The grain and the transparent blue combine to give it a real oceanic effect, and the silver guards make the whole thing a real jaw dropper. Well done.
