Thanks Kevin.

John, Good eye! It is from Dave's. Jim Rhoads has a similar looking one but Dave had a better price this time.

Would it be hard to return the TRC back to white?

Cole, I don't know. I haven't tried.

Maybe Paul W. will have an answer.

dittos to what everyone else said. Silver and blue - whoda thunk it? Very very nice. I wonder how other colors would look with silver plastic.... jetglo/silver would be pretty classy.

One thing about painting TRC's: I'm a bit mortified to say it but after painting one I tried to remove the paint with commercial paint remover. Well, I learned the hard way: in a nutshell, the TRC melted... literally. It was a horrible sight. After contacting Ric Inc I was directed to a store on the east coast who accepted my melted (and shriveled) TRC and sold me a new one. Just a word to the wise.

Gorgeous, Kevin!

The TRC could be returned to white in two ways: depending upon what kind of silver paint was used, it may be possible to clean the silver off with solvent. I'd give this not much of a chance, though.

The other way (foolproof) is to paint the TRC white over the silver.

Thanks Kent and Paul.

I like Paul's second way. Tough to get the small "MADE IN USA" back though.
