Nice & growly!
Kind of a Cocteau Twins vibe to the backing tracks.

I found each tune to have quite a different atmosphere, so different is to be expected.
Let us know as soon as it's out, & your preferred purchase method.
I got 'Dysfunctional..' from CDBaby, quite good service.

Just got our myspace page up: http://www.myspace.com/othyrworld . There is actually a Ric console steel in Moon, and the bass solo is on the '73 4003 JG. I think I used the CS on Ethereal Skyline.

Jeff, I like. Well done. Nice Sound. I am listening to Moon a second time while typing this. Really like The Alignment.

Mark - another good one. Like the quasi-60's-India-psychedelic sound to it. So will I be able to put JoyBomb in my stocking at Christmas??

Man I love this listening to other folks stuff. There is just so much talent on the this thread alone... I have lots of good links. Thanks for the ear food.

Well done, Jeff, I especially liked Ethereal Skyline. I wanted to hear how you used the CS but found myself tuning into the well tracked "crunch guitar" - What guitar was used? I'll give the rest a listen later.

Jim, the rhythm guitars would be Gibson Les Paul Classics, leads (all double tracked) are a combination of the LPs plus Fender fat strats with DiMarzio X2N/Super Distortion pickups, all run through a Marshall JMP 50W head/4x12 cabs.

Hey all - cool to see more traffic on this thread. My time is limited to my own gratuitous pimping until I get my internet connection back up at home, but I look forward to checking out all the new music when I have time.

And now, this week's gratuitous pimping:

I've posted another new song from the upcoming 'Joybomb' CD. The song is called 'Bed Of Love.' I used the 'Harley Bass' for the clean and distorted lines.

Serve loud. Enjoy.

Thanks, Fran. I forgot to mention - I used samples of Oliver Nelson's 'Stolen Moments' and Lyle Mays from the 'As Falls Wichita...' album.

So I think of - Walker ala Talking Heads meets Nine Inch Nails? Very transcendent. Works for me!!!

Frank, sorry I missed yours earlier. Seems to happen when posts are near the end of an archived section – some times I don’t get the notification that there was some new stuff there. Anyhow, neat little rock ditty; I liked the sound. (IMHO) I agree with adding some vocals (per your site comments) or a lead voice of some instrument – another guitar, keyboards, a violin, harmonica…. etc. Flavor of something like Hot as the Sun or Momma Miss America from McCartney. I think you have a catchy tune there.
