Oh, PUHL-EEEEEZE.

What sort of twisted fantasy life produces these monstrosities?

Well, wait, it IS kinda neat...

NOPE! Creepy.

Well...the shape is kinda unique.

(Cut to scene: JJ's living room. JJ is opening the case on his newest acquisition--a Spalt Terminator Bass...

Onlooker: What's in the case?

JJ: You'll see. It's called a Spalt Terminator. It's a 5-string bass.

(Opens case)

Onlooker: Ummmmm. Yeah...OK...where you gonna play THAT?

(9-year-old daughter runs screaming from room...)

Is the inlay of a man with his guts ripped out (presumably by that bass)?
It is nice wood, but better suited for furniture.

It actually kind of looks like a gun stock, sort of, maybe...
I'd say it took quite a bit of creative engineering, but it's still ugly!

Too dangerous to play in the dark.

Does seem to fit Ricardo's image, though.

"Looks like something out of Babylon 5"

Too crude for a Minbar so it must be from the Centauri.

I thought about the Shadows but they had quite sophisticated technology that they would never make something that looks like this bass. Perhaps Zathras knows?
