I have a B200R and very satisfied. Lots of sound variations, especially with the small push buttons ( hi-low, mid or highs ). Enough power in a small package, easy to move...I prefer 15s over smaller speakers & can get a nice tacky Ric sound as much as a ``deep low`` Fender P bass style sound...A few neg points: it does a small hum if both the gain & volume are higher than 5...I recently discovered this as my band moved to a bigger practice room ( 12ft high ceiling...) I am also presently shopping for a Mesa 400+ as the B200R lacks output ( or gives you a very distorted sound, way beyond acceptable )if your band plays loud...But it's enough for small gigs or garage type jams...
The newer 400+ will be combined to a 2 x 15s cab ( a second cab to be added later ). I was planning to sell the B200R when I,ll get the ``bigger one`` but will keep it for small gigs....This should speak for itself !! as I am very happy with it & can only recommend this great Ampeg product...

First off, I want to say this is a great board! You guys have all been really helpful.
Steve, I went up to Music City Guitar last night - quite an interesting place, very old school. Looks like it used to be a movie theater at one time... At any rate, I was able to try out the B100R, an N15S and a Bassman 210. They all sounded pretty good, with the Rocket edging out the others with a bit warmer tone.
Today I'm off to see if I can check out the other suggestions here, and then comes the hard part - actually making my final choice!

Robert, I have an Eden Nemesis combo, 2x12 with 320 watts and my ricks sound great through it. Plenty of volume and with a sansamp rbi in front I can get a wide variety of tonal variations. I've heard good things about Eden 2x10's also.
