A few years back when I was living in LA, a friend called me about a garage sale where he had just picked up a mint Twin Reverb for $125.

It seems the court had just awarded this lady (if you want to call her that) all of her ex's gear. She decided it sell it for about "ten cents on the dollar". By the time that I got over there, most of the good stuff was gone. Her ex's band-mates were there trying to persuade her to sell them a PA system, but she was refusing to sell it to them.

One of the band-mates told me that the ex did manage to get one of his Strats and his Tele back by having his former next-door neighbor buy them for $200.

Original listing is no longer available:

It might have been pulled by eBay because it was a "choice auction", which is not allowed, or maybe the seller wised up and listed each guitar iin a separate auction.
