Mid-Atlantic RICK-Fest 2007 announcement

Post by leftybass »

Okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here we go, off and running. Come one, come all.

MID ATLANTIC RICK-FEST 2007

When: April 21-22, 2007

Where: Pick Of The Ricks, 121 Holly St, Lindenwold, NJ 08021

As usual, the Fest will be all and as much about Rickenbacker instruments as we can cram into one weekend, with many of us bringing out some fine old Ricks along with contemporary favorites.

We hope as many of you can attend as possible, and we will have more detailed info about accomodations and other things soon, so that everyone can make their plans as they see fit.

As far as 'attractions' for the Fest, Chris, Don and myself will assess the details about doing things such as a jam session ar an 'Amp Corner' and let everyone know when we can.

With it being 5 months out, many of the details are still a work in progress, so just watch here for any threads or announcements about upcoming details.

We also welcome your comments about any Fest-related details, feel free to post right here...hopefully we can get you a quick answer.

Hope to see you there!!!!

Ok...let's all start a round of the Hallelujah chorus, shall we? Image

I am stoked for this one, folks! I go on a Golf trip early April and then have this awesome event to look forward to....and at POTR, no less!
I'll probably leave with one more bass than I arrive with... Image

That sounds like fun. Will there be a display of vintage and special model Ricks?
I could bring a Pete Townsend Limited Edition. Geez, I'm psyched!
Hope those forum shirts are available again, before the event...
Has anyone toyed with the idea of making up some shirts for the event?

Hmmm...same weekend as the Dallas Guitar Expo.
Ah, what the hey...there's always next year! Besides, Lindenwold is about 1,500 miles closer. I will be at POTR!

Hey Ken, are you coming down to see Rare Blend in Baltimore? There should be a few forumites there, and it will be the public debut (in Baltimore, anyway) of Chris Pappas' Glenn frey bass. See the relavent thread in Rickenbacker Artists.

Wow, Jeff, sounds like a cool gig! It would be cool to see you, Chris and some of the guys I met at last year's MARF again, but I am gigging this weekend. Damn! Would have loved to go...'Ball-ee-mur' is not far from home! Sorry, man.

Jeff,
Friday I'm part of a songwriters' house concert in Cherry Hill...Saturday is my wedding band thing in Medford, NJ.
I hope a lot of forumites come out to catch RB! Break a leg, Jeff!
