Turquoise is gold!

Post by ozover50 »

I finally got around to fitting the gold guards that Paul made for me during my stay in SF.

I really like the look......... especially with the vintage knobs:

Those guards alone were worth your trip Howard. A great look.

Looks really great Aitch! Now all you need is to send it to Dale for FWCP inlays and checker binding! Toasters, too. Image

Nice Howard.

I cannot wait to see it in person (I hope), in January.

Thanks, guys. I have to agree with you, Jeff - it would look great with all of those - and a gold TRC if I could get one!

It will be here, Dave. Looking forward to meeting you very much!

The guards look great Howard! Here's a close relative you may recall from your time in Toronto...

Lovely, lovely!

Both the Turquoise and the Sea Green look fantastic with gold guards.

I'm a big fan of gold on TQ myself....

I do recall, Steve! I didn't drink much that night....... Image

Your TQ is a bit darker than mine, Melibee. Not just through the pics.... that was my first impression when I saw it at Santa Ana.
